The Barn On The Hill

I am going to introduce to you the barn on the hill.

The barn on the hill is the most photogenic barn you are ever going to meet. Dude...this barn has everything. It's on a hill, surrounded by corn, with two silos (two is better than one), a rusty roof, vines crawling up the side, hay everywhere, 2 levels, and my favorite - A GIANT HOLE IN THE WALL!!!
It is the most perfect barn ever.

I also forgot to mention that there are vines coming inside the barn through the hole. Could it get any better?

This is the other side of the barn. (you can see the silos through the holes in the wall)

I just realized that ladder doesn't lead up to anything! Haha! That's kinda funny. I guess it's there so you can climb on that beam and practice your tightrope skills.

I was feeling very brave and ventured through the barn with the rotten floor to look inside this room....

...when I fell through the floor right as I snapped a shot....

Just kidding! I made it all the way without falling through.
I was hoping I would find something exciting in that room, but I found nothing except some junk and this little window thing that looks down into the downstairs. I didn't get a shot of that because I wasn't sure how stable the floor was in there and there was probably a raccoon or opossum about to jump out at me....I just stayed away.

If you can't tell, this is above the creepy raccoon room.

Here I captured as much of the inside of the barn I could in one shot. I think this picture is pretty nifty.

This giant hole is still my favorite thing of the whole barn.

Now....welcome to the downstairs of the big beautiful barn on the hill.

Above that roof you can see a little window. That is the window of the raccoon room.

This place looks so old that I bet the Pilgrims built it. Haha! Just kidding. I doubt this barn is over 300 years old. The reason why I think the Pilgrims built it is because look at the beams....

They're logs!!!!! Gee wiz!!! I wonder how many trees this big beauty took to build?!

This picture was taken from the downstairs, looking up through a hole in the floor.

Here is something that used to be a doorway until the vines started making their way up the side of the barn.

Did I mention that this barn is filled with treasure?

Here is a sassy old barn door waiting to be DIYed...

along with this old window (without the glass).

I found these beauties in this little brick room along with something strange. You want to give me a guess?

Wrong! The correct answer is a car door.

This little yellow drawer is full of treasures too. I even found a pretty cool pair of shades in there! I also found some wires which I think used to be a bomb (bahahahahahaha! I doubt it), and old magazines that had some pretty great sales going on.

I can promise you that this is not the end you will see of this big red beauty on a hill. I am planning MANY more photo shoots that will take place here. I am going to end this post with a picture of the giant hole......with lots of vines.

Just kidding....one more picture!
